    Downstairs we have a new multi-station, which covers: pull-down, low row, cable crossover, triceps’ press, chin ups and hip adduction. Whilst upstairs we now have an ultra-heavy-duty Smiths machine with lineal bearings and a 40mm bar that is designed not to flex under heavy loads.

"Joining Tony Martin's Sports Connection has been one of the best things I've ever done! MYTH: ONE SHOULD LOSE WEIGHT BEFORE THEY BEGIN AN EXERCISE PROGRAM.


There is no physiological reason to lose weight prior to beginning an exercise program only unless you have orders from your Doctor. Fat loss and muscle gain are only two of the many benefits that your body will experience from exercising. Once you lose weight you can move a little easier and you can be more fit at 30% body fat if you are exercising than if you try to achieve 20% with exercising. The goal is to gain or preserve muscle and lose fat – not just lose weight.
